Department of Mechanical Engg.

About Us
Department of Mech. Engg. was started in the year 2008 with the intake of 60. The department is committed to up to date knowledge of various engineering subjects in the area of Mechanical Engineering and few subjects of management also. The department is also having tie ups with the industries for providing the industry institution interface and placements.

Course Duration
The BE (Mech.Engg.) having 4yrs full time course and affiliated to the RGPV, Bhopal.

Vision
To promote efficient and effective mechanical engineers who are able to contribute significantly at global level.

Mission
To facilitate students by all ways and means so that they are able to create their own destiny and serve the nation through the system of design, research and development in the field of mechanical engineering.

The B.E. (Electronics & Communication Engineering) course affiliated to the FRGPV University, Bhopal with specialization and elective in IV year.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering

About Us

Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) has been established in the year 2008 with an initial intake of 60 students. The Department has experienced significant growth over the last few years, and is now home to 15 faculties, with strong groups in all the subjects mentioned in RGPV syllabus. The Department offers B.E. course. The Department follows a comprehensive curriculum as designed by the state technical University (RGPV) on topics related to all aspects of Computer Hardware and Software with an emphasis on practical learning. The course structure is up-to-date and includes courses on nascent topics to equip our students with the latest developments. The computer facilities comprise laboratories of 200+ Computers; all are interconnected through the network. The department has also the Internet facility of 2MBPS for the faculty and students.

The Department provides state of the art computing facilities to the students. It also promotes active industry-institute collaboration by identifying areas of interest and organizing the expert lectures on the new technologies. We are also trying to take part in sponsored research projects and consultancy services. Some of the major research areas which the faculty members and students working on are Recommendation systems, Ad-Hoc Networks, Mobile computing, Image Mining, Machine learning, Software Engineering and Data Mining. The Department provides an outstanding environment for excellence in teaching and our faculty aim at delivering top class education blending with their rich classroom teaching. We are having competent faculties with vast teaching experience. They provide students with the latest technical knowledge and practical exposure so that they can make their presence felt in the latest technical revolution. The Department offers guidance to the students in the latest software like C, C++, JAVA, .NET and LINUX programming.

It gives us full satisfaction to highlight the fact that department of CSE is enriched with good infrastructure, high qualified and experienced faculty and very enthusiast and devoted students. The Department has state of the art infrastructure and computing equipment supported by high speed internet. Student chapter of various professional societies like CSI and IEEE are active throughout the year.

Organized the 3 Day Hands on Training on “Linux Essentials” where corporate trainer and the master of Linux Mr Madan Tiwari has trained the students on Linux
The Technical Fiesta was organized where students took part in 11 different events and total of 1400 students from different Engineering Institutions have participated in this mega event
One day workshop on “Java Technologies” was organized,
One day workshop on “Perl Programming” was organized
The annual cultural program “Sagar Utsav” was also organized where several students from the department took part in different events.
